Mrs. Licavoli

 Welcome to Mrs. Licavoli's

      Sixth Grade Math

and

Sixth Grade

Writing

It was nice meeting many of you at parent teacher conferences.   Our work  will be based on the Common Core State Standards.  See the link at the right to understand what your child will be learning this year.  Please regularly check your student's progress with School View.  If you don't have a password, stop in and get one from the office.   If you do not have internet access, there is a computer available to you in the office.

Feel free to contact me at any time, I believe that we are partners in your child's education.

email:  licavolij@bscs.k12.mi.us or (989)777-1600

Frequently asked questions:

Why does my child tell me he/she has no homework?

Answer:  It is possible that your child uses their time very efficiently and completes homework during study hall or free time, but usually students will have some work to finish or review.  Check school view.  If there are missing assignments, your child isn't turning in their work.  Students can always redo low assignments.  I hand back corrected work on Monday or Tuesday, go over those corrected assignments with your child as a review.  When in doubt, call me.

I would like to help my child with homework, but don't remember this information.

Answer:  There are textbooks available to check out that will help you with the information. They will need to be signed out and brought back in May.  Just ask and I will send one home with your student.
