Welcome to 2nd grade! It is a privilege and pleasure to work with each of my students. I look forward to enhancing the academic growth and development of each student!
Classroom Information
- Please make sure your child wears gym shoes their gym day. We will have gym on the following days.
Marking Period 1: Mondays & Fridays
Marking Period 2: Thursdays
Marking Period 3: Wednesdays
Marking Period 4: Tuesdays
- Students are required to take 2 AR tests each week. Please make sure that your child is reading their AR books nightly. Children need to bring their AR books back to school each day. I will allow class time for students to read their books. All students should read their books at least 3-4 times before taking their test.
- Please make sure that your child brings their green homework folder to school every day. Homework folders contain assigned homework and behavior charts. Parents please sign folders on Fridays to let me know that you have monitored assignments and behavior charts.
- Students will bring home a list of spelling words each Monday. Spelling tests will take place on Fridays. Please make sure that your student studies their words each night.
