Student Council

The B.H.S. Student Council provides training and

leadership skills for Bridgeport's high school student leaders.

Student Council meets every Wednesday on a rotating schedule. A schedule is posted outside room 56 along with any announcements from week to week.

"Pasta for Pennies"

STUCO sponsors a "Pasta for Pennies" drive to benefit Lymphoma & Leukemia. We collect donations and the class that donates the most money will get a lunch provided by either Hungry Howies or The Olive Garden.

"Womens Expo @ Candlelite"

Student Council participated in the Women's Expo held at Candlelite Banquet Center. There were vendors, crafts, and baked goods. The council hopes to make this a yearly event.

"Cookies for Courage"

Cookies for courage is an annual event which recognizes Bridgeport's local police officers, sheriff, and fire department. Cookies are baked in bulk and distributed to our officers. It is our way to say thank you for the service they do.
