 A little about me:

I  am proud to be a member of the 9th Grade Academy Team at Bridgeport High School

I have 17 years of teaching experience in the Bridgeport School District

I have an Associates Degree from Delta Community College

I have a Bachelors Degree from CMU

I have a Masters Degree from Concordia University

My Schedule:

1st Hr.  --  English 9 with Mrs. Countegan

2nd Hr.  --  Algebra 1 with Mr. Lade

3rd Hr.  --  Biology with Mrs. Chojnacki

4th Hr.  --  Resource Room

5th Hr.  --  U.S. History with Mr. Lagalo

6th Hr.  --  Prep. Hour/meeting time

I am a member of the support staff at Bridgeport High School

I am responsible for assisting the 9th grade academy teachers in providing additiional  support for students with a variety of challenges

Some of the supports I provide are:

• study guides
• modified tests
• tests read to students in small groups or individually
• weekly progress reports with a progress conference with individual students
• samples of projects and papers to use as a guideline
• weekly reminders of due dates for all academy assignments
• assistance during class
• lunch time and after school tutoring

I also provide further assistance for students by supervising one hour in the Resource Room for students who need additonal time and assistance to complete class work, assessments, and projects.
