Welcome to 8th grade Social Studies

This years units of studies will include the following:

  • The American Revolution to Industrialized United States.
  • Unit 1 will consist of the causes of and the outcomes of the American Revolution. It will also cover the struggles the United States had in creating a new government.

 As we go along, I will publish any current and all past assignments and their due dates. Consider it a weekly syllabus.

Our first unit of study will be the causes and effects of the American Revolution.      Due Friday September 9th, 2011 will be chapter 7 Vocabulary packet.

***  Any missing work do to absences of any kind, (illness, suspension) is to be picked up in the office if at all possible and is due 2 days after student returns. If student work is gathered after they return from absence, they have 1 day for every day missed to complete and turn in work. ie, 3 days out, 3 days to complete work after returning.
